Security and data. What stays with you, and what doesn’t.
Amperatec runs on your premises, not in our cloud. Here is what the AI sees, who may do what and where your data lives.
AI
The AI drafts and suggests. People and fixed rules decide what runs.
- No training on your data
- The language model does not learn from your input. Processing happens on Amazon Bedrock in EU data centres, and the model provider does not see your data.
- Off until you switch it on
- After installation the AI is switched off. Your administrator switches it on and sees beforehand which data will leave your premises.
- Only the values needed
- For a draft or an analysis the AI receives the values it needs, not your whole archive.
- A person approves
- Test cases and plans only run once a person has approved them, with name and time.
- The AI never controls instruments
- Instruments are run by a fixed sequence control. A separate monitor shuts down as soon as a value leaves its permitted range; E-stop and contactors stay hardware.
Operation and data
Your data lives in your network and follows your rules.
- Runs on your premises
- On a computer in your lab or a server in your building. You need no cloud for measurement data and evidence.
- Without internet, too
- Tests, monitoring, planning and evidence keep running without an outside connection. Only drafting and analysis with AI need one.
- Your rules for storage
- Because the data lives with you, your policies apply: backups, retention periods, disk encryption and network access.
- Encrypted connection
- Requests to the language model are encrypted (TLS 1.2 or newer) and go to data centres in the EU.
Access
You decide who may do what, and can see later who did what.
- Roles and permissions per person
- You decide for each person who may create, approve, start or only read.
- Traceable
- Every approval and every run is recorded with person and time, so an auditor can also see who decided what, and when.
